Because Hill Air Force Base is such a large part of Davis County, a committee is used to ensure proper communication with the leadership of the base. The committee frequently sponsors networking opportunities and fund-raisine events in conjunction with other entitites that support the base. (Annaul committee fee includes base pass).

Taste of the Town is an activity that occurs on Pioneer Day (July 24) each year in Layton Commons Park. This event offers terrific music, fantastic food and more.

The Gobbler Gallop is a 5K Fun Run held in Bountiful City. In conjunction with the run, the Chamber sells turkey certificates to be donated to needy families in Davis County.

Each year the Chamber hosts a Golf Tournament as a fundraising event for the Chamber. This event gives buinesses an opportunity to reach other business decision-makers by sponsoring or participating as a player.

This committee is associated with the new county wide cable channel, Davis Cable 17.

This Women in Business Committee is designed to deal with women in the workplace issues. This committee allows for a profound mentoring and networking opportunity for women. The committee meets for a luncheon the second Thursday of each month. (Annual fee does not include the price of lunch).

Chris Dallin, Intermountain Health Care McKay-Dee Hospital, Committee Chair
This is the lobbying committee of the Chamber. The committee meets frequently with local government leaders and legislators to ensure proper legislation of the business environment. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month and twice a week during the legislative session. (Breakfast and/or lunch for each meeting is included in the annual committee fee).

The official ambassador group of the Chamber provides ribbon cutting services, and welcomes dignitaries and VIP�s to Davis County. This committee is by invitation only.
